civic park

Civic Park provides critical youth and adult sports facilities for Eugene and the surrounding community. It is the result of a coalition of community groups to create the Eugene Civic Alliance (ECA), whose initial goal of renovating and rehabilitating the historic Civic Park baseball stadium into a multi-use athletic facility was revised when a disastrous fire destroyed the original stadium. ECA regrouped and expanded the vision for the complex to include multiple community sports. Phase 1 included a field house for basketball, Kidsports offices, and a soccer field. Phase 2 expanded the sports field to include locker rooms, grandstands, restrooms, ticket booth, and press box.  RSA worked in collaboration with Skylab Architecture for the design and construction of both phases.
