LCC Health Professions Building
Lane community college Health Professions Building
Guided by the objective of reintegrating the Dental Assistant and Dental Hygiene programs into LCC’s main campus and providing new facilities for the Medical Assistant and Emergency Medical Services programs, Robertson | Sherwood | Architects (in partnership with Mahlum Architects) actively engaged with a broad stakeholder base. This collaboration not only shaped the building into a gateway and state-of-the-art facility for the LCC Health Professions Division but also facilitated equitable and inclusive design principles, catering to students, faculty, and to the public. The team worked together to identify value engineering strategies to manage costs while upholding quality. Co-locating larger classrooms and creating adaptable spaces allowed the building to serve as both a lecture hall and a venue for community events.
